Itchfunding goal hit!
Thank you to everyone for purchasing Signal to Noise, with your support we've now hit the itchfunding goal which means the game will be fully edited by Emzy Wisker, who I worked with during the Kickstarter for Project Cassandra. The vast majority of the time I work solo so it's great to be in a position where I can afford to hire an editor to improve the quality of what I release.
As I have alluded to in the game Signal to Noise is a prelude to the Dyson Eclipse, a space opera setting that I am slowly developing and while Emzy edits and cleans up the text I'll be working on the next instalment in the series. My aim is to release a series of small games that each explore a different facet of the setting rather than a single giant game full of lore that never really gets used.
Right now I'm working on:
Rock Hoppers - A Wretched and Alone game about an asteroid miner and their discovery of an ancient artefact.
Legitimate Salvage (working title stolen from The Expanse) - A GMless game about a crew of salvagers and the bonds between them as they try to escape a XAP patrol with a cargo hold full of Xenotech.
The Cyclic Void - A hack/supplement of Stealing the Throne set at the end of the timeline as a group of rebels desperately try to steal a titanic weapon and send it back in time to a point where it could make a pivotal difference.
My hope is to release Rock Hoppers and The Cyclic Void this year while Legitimate Salvage will be the anchor point for my ZineQuest 2022 kickstarter. While the campaign will be focused on that game my aim is to offer print versions of all of the games as add-ons. It's going to be a big step up from my first campaign but I'm looking forward to it.
