The Words We Leave Behind is a duet epistolary RPG about time, war, love and hate inspired by This is how you lose the time war. As you traverse the time stream you will work to rewrite history for your Faction, all while building a secret rapport with the only person who could ever understand you. This ashcan pre-release includes the core rules and the first set of prompt tables, with layout using the Explorers Design template. It is unedited and rough around the edges. Future updates will expand the game with additional prompt tables, professional editing and additional art by Carly A-F.

• 2 players
• A deck of cards each
• An online document that you can both edit
• A way to message one another

A limited print run of the ashcan will be available at Tabletop Scotland and online after the convention.
